At high temperatures, Hastelloy pipe can maintain strength and toughness, making it suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure environments, such as Hastelloy® X pipe. It has strong corrosion resistance to strong acids such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid, especially in reducing acid environments. Hastelloy® C-276 pipe is a versatile, corrosion-resistant alloy suitable for use in a variety of demanding environments, especially when handling oxidizing and reducing mixed media.
